Cheerios Necklace Bird Feeder

We’re not the only ones who love Cheerios … our backyard bird friends do too ! Here’s a way to get them some.

Here’s the stuff you’ll need:

Yarn or string
Cheerios Cereal [un-sweetened]
Scissors

Cut a piece of yarn, or string, about 2 feet long.

Tie a pencil to end the yarn, or string. This will hold the end down so the yarn, or string, is straight up and down while you hold the other end.

String the cereal onto the yarn, or string.

Take your pencil off and tie both ends of the yarn, or string together.

Hang outside on a tree branch in such a way the birds can sit on another branch nearby while they eat.

When they’re done with it you might find the yarn, or string is gone also. They love that kind of stuff to use in building their nest !
