Sphynx
In 1966 a cat gave birth to a hairless kitten in Toronto, Canada. It was the start of the Sphynx breed. They are not always totally hairless. They can have super fine and tiny hair that makes them feel like a warm peach !
The feel of the Sphynx skin has been compared to a suede covered hot water bottle.
The most asked question about a Sphynx is … "Don't they get cold?" They do, and when they get cold these cats are smart enough to find a warm human, dog or cat to curl up with. You might even find them under your bed covers !
Sphinx’s are super curious and love to be the center of attention. They love doing tricks to entertain you. They mostly want to be with humans but will usually get along well with dogs and other cats.
Just because they don’t have hair doesn’t mean they won’t need to have a bath, and ear cleaning, every now and then.
