BARK tip!
" Taking your dog to the Vet once a year is like you going to see your doctor once every 7 years ! Don't miss your dogs Vet appointment ! "
Field Spaniel

The Field Spaniel is believed to have been a mix from a lot of other spaniels, the like the Cocker Spaniel, English Srpinger Spaniel, Wales Springer Spaniel, Clumber Spaniel and Sussex Spaniel. They grow to be 17–19 inches tall and will weigh around 40–55 pounds.

These guys are really friendly and can fit into almost any lifestyle. Fields Spaniels are a family breed and will show affection to everyone in the family. But, they are naturally cautious of strangers and that makes them an excellent watchdog.

They will get along with other dogs and cats but you will have to watch them really carefully around rabbits, mice, rats and birds. This is because of their strong hunting instinct.

They need some special grooming care for their ears and feet. Their long ears can stop air circulation in the ear canal and that can mean too much moisture which can cause an infection. They also have webbed feet and too much hair there can also mean too much moisture and then infection.
